On this Bike Hike, we will visit Blythwood Ravine and Sherwood Ravine with some Lessons on forest succession and invasion.
All are welcome, and this hike is suitable for families with children.
The route is about 5 km return, and expected to take one hour. There is an option to cycle another 500 metres north to ice cream parlours.
Bikeshare Toronto has a station at Yonge and Lawrence if you don’t have a bike. You must check this out in advance and reserve.
Children under 16 must wear helmets. We urge everyone to wear a helmet.
Hike leader: Chris Robinson, CFO Green Party of Ontario Don Valley West Constituency Association. Chris has been cycle commuting in Toronto for over 50 years, and wearing a helmet for the last 40 years.
